Solar Window Replacement

Ted & Lisa wanted to replace the windows on the second floor of their home, where two of their second floor bedrooms faced west. With our unseasonably warm temperatures, they were finding the bedrooms were uncomfortably warm throughout the summer months continuing up until October. Their new replacement windows contain the Polar Ray-O-Max glass known as the USB+ (Ultra Solar Block). This type of glass reflects the solar energy back to the source, protecting the room from the heat of the sun. The solar protection does not require any tinting or film that might obstruct the view. The couple were also pleased with the ease of operation of the roller style window.

In the front of the home they chose a full casement style window for the den/computer room. The previous windows had failed to operate so the room had poor air flow. This style of the replacement windows increased the viewing space as well as allowed for airflow.

Ted & Lisa were impressed with the efficiency of the Certified Installation Crew and are looking forward to replacing the main floor windows next year.
