All our doors are built with a very high energy efficient (R 15) polyurethane core. They also come with a maintenance free aluminum sill and an optional acrylic bonded PVC cladding.
The Polar Ray-O-Max Window Powered Home Technology ™ is incorporated into our tri-pane door lite. A combination of Solar Gold Spacerglass ™, Power Spacer(tm) and heat reflective Power Glass ™ virtually eliminates condensation. Together they transmit and retain 2-3 times more energy during the day than they lose at night.

Different Technologies for Different Purposes

Each door lite features strengthened tempered glass, both inside and out, and between the panes, our performance enhancing Krypton Argon gas blend. The door lite is then glazed into a maintenance free insulated polymatrix frame.
Our doors also feature patented door security. Full length solid wood blocks laminated between fiberglass provide extra security when mounting Weiser brand hardware. This system provides the security of a deadbolt with a non-locking lower trim, and is available in a wide variety of decorative styles and finishes. A specially designed striker plate wraps around a solid fir frame is fastened with 3 1/2″ screws to strengthen the locking mechanism.
